Shipping

We ship primarily by UPS and FedEx.  When your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email.

Please be aware...

Our automatic shipping calculations are only accurate for orders up to $249.99.  Larger orders, especially porcelain, usually require a shipping fee of 10-15% of the total order.  We are able to offer FREE shipping on Royal Patrician orders of $350 or more.  For larger orders, please call for shipping estimates.

Expedited Shipping

At Roses and Teacups, we understand about last minute tea parties, forgotten gifts, and sudden inspirations.  If you need expedited shipping, we will do our absolute best to accomodate!  Please call us toll free at 866-99TCUPS, or email us at info@roses-and-teacups.com to inquire.


Returns

We want you to be happy with your purchases!  If you are not pleased with your order, please notify us within 3 days that you are planning a return.  

We will inform you of where to ship your items.  Please wait for this information.  If you return an item to us or to one of our suppliers without notifying us, we cannot guarantee a refund.

Upon receipt of your items, a refund of your purchase costs will be issued. We regret that we cannot refund shipping costs unless a mistake was made on our part.

If your items are damaged in shipment, please notify us within 3 days of receipt, and we will have our shipper pick them up so that we can receive our refund from the shipper and reship your items.

Please be aware that some custom made items cannot be returned. These items are marked on the site.

We do not offer returns on Clearance or Sale merchandise.


FAQ

"Why do you need my phone number?"

Many of our suppliers use shipping companies which require customer phone numbers.  In addition, if we need to contact you for any reason regarding your order, this greatly assists us in the process.  Although we faithfully respond to every phone call and email, we have found that emails are sometimes bounced back to us, lost in SPAM folders, or sent to old addresses.  Phone calls are more reliable and will get you your order FASTER!

"Where is the rest of my order?"

We offer many handcrafted gifts which ship directly from where they are created, decorated, poured, sewn, assembled, etc.  One order may contain items from 5 sources!  So don't panic ~ The remainder of your order is most likely shipping in another box.

"Why is my order taking so long"

In general, in-stock items are shipped within 5 business days.

Many of our items are handcrafted one at a time just for you!  Please plan ahead as much as you are able, especially for large events.  Some things just cannot be rushed.  

Check the pages of our site for shipping guidance.  We try to let you know how long to allow for various items.  When in doubt; ask!

Privacy

Roses and Teacups does not under any circumstances sell or give our customer information to anyone else  with the obvious exceptions of the shipping company delivering the order and, if appropriate, our artists and suppliers who ship products directly.

We will not contact you unless there is a question regarding your order.

Our newsletter is sent only to those who sign up for it.

Payment transactions with Roses and Teacups are encrypted and secure.

Problems with your order...

Please contact us directly if you have not received your order, if your order arrives damaged, or if something is not correct in your order.

Please do not simply file a dispute with Paypal or a Chargeback with your credit card, as even when the error or misunderstanding is resolved, we will have to pay a fee and even then we may not receive payment for the order for several weeks.

Disputes filed against us in our business history:  Less than half of one per cent of total orders (0.004)

Disputes filed where an error was actually made on our part:  maybe 5 

Did we make a mistake?  We will make it right!
