"We
are all familiar with the pink ribbons for breast cancer, but did you
know that all the cancers have their own color ribbon?
We
have done this teapot in lavender, the color for all
cancers, with our signature lacework and accent flowers. The
ribbon is composed of handmade flowers in several different colors
representing different cancers, each with a Swarovski rhinestone
center. Sadly, there is not enough room for a flower in the color
of each and every cancer... We are donating the profits from this
teapot to City of Hope, a place of not only hope, but miracles."

antique mold we were able to acquire so a limited amount of these
teapots may be created.

They are limited editions! As with many of our lovely products,
handcrafted items are unique treasures. If you see something you
love, consider purchasing sooner rather than later to avoid
disappointment!
"Each
of our ceramic confections takes on average eight hours to paint as
each color is applied four times by hand. The two step firing process
totals over 14 hours to nearly 2000 degrees. The hand made flowers and
leaves, and anything else that creates the look we want, are fused to
the confection in the second firing process when the two coats of the
diamond gloss glaze is applied, also by hand.
All
of our ceramic confections are one-of-a-kind, and although we reproduce
these pieces, no two are ever exactly alike as they are lovingly
painted one at a time. Because
each of our ceramic confections is hand painted, imperfections are to
be expected and are part of the charm of the handcrafted piece."
